Friends not accepting book donations
Hopefully, this is just a temporary situation. It was raised earlier this week according to the discussion at the Town Council meeting Wednesday evening and Jeff Nutting is working to find some space for this effort.
Yes, there is some irony involved. Here is the Library stopping their volunteer group from working to prepare their major fund raiser which provides financial aid to the Library.

Oh no! I'm sorry to hear this. Hopefully they will be able to resume taking donations in the near future. I can't imagine this would be a permanent change.
ReplyDeleteFYI, if you have a particularly valuable or unusual book that you are looking to be rid of, don't hesitate to call the library directly to ask if they would be interested in adding it to their collection. I did this recently, and the librarian was thrilled at what I brought her. :)
